I’m Maria (she/her), a Portuguese from the mountains who likes to learn about the world visually. I hold a MSc in Biochemistry. During my degree, I not only gained scientific knowledge but also learned how to research and accurately integrate information. In addition to my degree, I have always been interested in visual communication, ranging from photography to graphic design and illustration. I gained experience in creating materials to promote events in a student association and furthered my knowledge of graphic design through books and online courses. Now, I integrate both worlds to effectively communicate science and information with the final goal of stimulating profitable discussions and attracting innovation.
